Meet Daniel Paré, your strength and conditioning coach:
Daniel Paré is a certified weightlifting coach (N.C.C.P.), a certified speed and power specialist (C.S.P.S.), a certified strength training specialist (C.S.T.S.) and he is certified with the Special Olympics of Canada with more than 35 years of experience in training. During those years he has competed in Olympic weightlifting, representing Canada at the World's Games in Australia in 2002 and 2007. He has also competed in powerlifting, hockey and track and field.
He is a member of the following associations:
- National Coaching Certification Program, N.C.C.P.
- Canadian Special Olympics, C.S.O.
- Ontario Weightlifting Association, O.W.A.
- Ontario Powerlifting Association, O.P.A.
- Society of weight Training Specialists, S.W.I.S.
He has personally coached and trained several individuals involved in sports including Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman competition, hockey, football and tack and field. He regularly trains recruits for the Armed Forces, Police Forces and Firefighters. Nominated coach of the year 2003-2004, Special Olympics of Ontario powerlifting division. He is the founder/editor of the Weight Room Press magazine and he writes for the local St. Thomas Times Journal. Daniel also submits articles to Danny O'Dell's Explosivelyfit Training News, a U.S. publication.
